Mark L. Randall has been conducting civil and criminal trials before Maine juries for 20 years. After completing a judicial clerk internship with the Vermont Supreme Court and graduating from Vermont Law School, Mr. Randall began his practice of law trying criminal cases before juries as an Assistant District Attorney in Maine.

In 1990 he joined a Portland trial firm and focused his trial practice on legal matters involving medical malpractice including birth injury and failure to diagnose cases, personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries and damages, insurance contract disputes, and criminal defense.

Although the provision of legal services has become more and more impersonal, Mr. Randall continues to practice law with the philosophy that people deserve personal attention, dedication and aggressive representation. At Randall Law Office, Mr. Randall is available to his clients when they need him and he is not affraid spend the extra hours on their case. This dedication has allowed Mr. Randall to personally guide hundreds of clients through the justice system with successful proven results.

Few lawyers have the background and experience to take a case to trial if it is the only way to obtain successful recovery for the client. Through the years, some of Mr. Randall’s notable jury verdicts include: obtaining the highest personal injury jury verdict in Somerset County for a client who suffered severe injuries and permanent disability after falling down a flight of stairs due to negligently installed carpeting; obtaining the highest jury verdict in York County for a family involving the wrongful death of a woman due to medical malpractice of cardiologist who improperly injected her with medication in violation of national guidelines resulting in a cerebral hemorrhage and death; and obtaining Maine’s highest jury verdict for a client in a case involving a disability insurance contract dispute. For over 20 years Mr. Randall has successfully obtained verdicts and recoveries for his clients involving legal claims for wrongful death, medical malpractice, birth injuries, personal injury, and contract disputes. Mr. Randall has also successfully represented individuals within Maine’s criminal justice system, including jury acquittal and dismissals of criminal charges.

Mr. Randall is admitted to and practices in all Maine courts and the United States District Court and the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is a member of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Maine Bar Association and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization recognizing attorneys who have obtained jury verdicts of one million dollars or more. Mr. Randall was born in Munich, Germany and is bilingual.
